This senior manager will have a passion for Law Enforcement (LE) engagement to strengthen field LE partnerships and incident preparedness. This leader will develop, establish, and own sustainable and scalable Global LE Engagement strategies by pursuing programs that enhance our security infrastructure and operating model. This role will serve as a global conduit for broader LE networking movement and will build community-centric approach and roadmap. This role will establish LE engagement best practices and networking standards, and engage the business to execute to those standards. This includes ensuring a unified approach to first-responder engagement through strategic outreach, steering and aligning initiatives to address global security-framework and preparedness gaps, and coordinating efforts with LE at an organizational level in ways that optimize local-level LE partnership outcomes. This role will support GSO’s security strategies by force-multiplying LE networking, bolstering LE connections and information-sharing sources, and empowering proactive and trusted LE relationships.


Key job responsibilities
• Design, implement, and directly manage GSO’s global Law Enforcement Engagement Strategy that delivers a network-aligned roadmap with clear objectives.
• Establish a global framework for LE and external-agency partnership management, including best practices, processes, and resource allocation that enables high cross-functional engagement and execution.
• Lead strategic and tactical central LE networking initiatives globally and with field partners to optimize local-level LE partnerships and external-agency engagement standards of work (such as summits, events, exercises, funding & grant support, etc.)
• Establish and maintain a repository for single-threaded ownership and liaising of global partners
• Identify new partnership opportunities and facilitate with SME teams to solve complex internal/external business problems
• Create simple, effective, streamlined, consistent standards of work that address industry-networking gaps and scale solutions
• Conduct LE engagement benchmarking to establish goals and quantifiable metrics-driven outcomes by analyzing data and developing measurability mechanisms.
• Develop a grant program that demonstrates Amazon’s commitment to community safety by funding local law enforcement agencies with a mission to drive collective community preparedness and first-responder partnerships.
• Explore information-sharing practices to enable benefits to public & private sector (such as networking, crime prevention, resourcing, training, and operating guidelines)
• Develop processes and standard operating procedures to manage the innerworkings of this strategy.
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders across GSO, L&D, PxT, Comms/Engagement, Resilience/IMT-ex, Legal, and other partners to bolster program support and cross-functional business integrations.
• Effectively network with external agencies to identify partnership opportunities and engage GSO leaders and key stakeholders to garner LE strategy support, prioritization, and business ownership for optimal impact.
• Execute all facets of this function with a forward-looking slate to identify optimization, scalability, and ROI-expansion opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in Program Management or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in managing Law Enforcement partnerships & networking programs
• 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communications and engagement skills


• 10+ years of Law Enforcement experience, Networking & Engagement Strategies
• Knowledgeable understanding of the operations environment and GSO operating model
• Experience developing creative, effective, and interactive networking strategies and programs and partnering globally to drive implementation
• Experience running global engagement programs, regional program oversight, and networking campaigns within an operations and corporate environment
• Ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful, relevant, and actionable information
• Experience developing effective and low-impact feedback mechanism strategies
