Since launching in 2005, the US Prime membership program has made life easier and more enjoyable for millions of members in the US and been a key driver of Amazon's rapid growth across a wide range of business units. As we continue to invest in the Prime program in the US, we are looking for a customer-obsessed product leader to lead our efforts to make the world's largest membership program more personal and relevant for the next generation of US Prime members. The US Prime team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to own product development for Prime Segments. As Sr. PM for US Prime Segments, you will be responsible for developing a long-term plan for growing Prime membership with low income, student and young adult demographic segments. You will be responsible for identifying and leading the development of customer experience, product, and benefit offerings that serve these members. You will directly own the development of key products and partner closely with tech, science, user experience, and marketing partners to ensure we are working backwards from these customers in the US to continue to meet their needs and address their barriers to joining Prime.

Key job responsibilities
Develop, incubate, and manage product and feature concepts to serve these new customer segments in the US.
Leverage product management, retail marketing knowledge and business acumen to clarify, simplify, prioritize, and deliver impactful projects and features.
Track, optimize, and report to senior leadership on product performance
Work with WW Prime and segment leaders in other geographies to ensure we scale winning US strategies, products, features, benefits and partnerships around the world.


About the team
US Prime is responsible for working backwards from US customers to grow the size and engagement of Prime membership in the US. We work with WW Prime to ensure products under development will address the needs and barriers of US customers and enable us to unlock new sources of growth. We are responsible for managing US-specific products, marketing, and business development. We are part of the US Retail organization as well as the extended WW Prime team.

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
