The Alexa Endpoints Product team leads the customer experience across Multi-modal devices, the Alexa App, and Web experiences for Alexa. Every day, we are working to build the best AI Assistant for our customers across the globe. We are seeking a Senior PMT to join the team.
In this role, you will define, build, and launch customer facing features across our endpoints and impact millions of customers worldwide. You will partner closely with design, engineering, and many teams across Alexa to build new experiences as we evolve into a more intelligent AI product.
This role requires strong ownership and bias for action, the ability to dive deep with UX and technical teams, and work across partners throughout the larger Alexa ecosystem to deliver important features for Alexa. You must have experience building consumer facing features. Customers love what Alexa can already do. They are even more excited about her future potential.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive product development from concept to launch with a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, and UX design experts.
- Define detailed product strategies, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
- Create buy-in for the product/feature both internally and with key external partners
- Analyze and leverage data to drive decision making
- Establish the right metrics and define how to measure success. Dive deep into data.
A day in the life
No one day is the same in this team. In a given day, you may be bringing a doc to leaders, working with UX and engineering to solve a mission critical customer problem, writing a PRFAQ or BRD, etc.
About the team
As an endpoint product team, we have direct impact on how millions of customers experience our products. We work across the Alexa organization to bring exciting new features and experiences to our customers. Many PMTs have been with the team for several years and our team is excited about being at the center of the AI revolution for consumers across Alexa.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical field (e.g., computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of consumer facing feature/experience or device product management experience in mass market consumer electronics / software / hardware / sensors / mobile product management
- 5+ years experience shipping consumer features and experiences that involve hardware and software.
- 5+ years experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver features/experiences or products and projects on tight deadline
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
- Experience with the product development process for consumer device hardware
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
