This global role is responsible for supporting diverse projects by setting up critical data elements to support various applications. This position is for a Service Operations Systems & Data Project Manager that will independently lead the data portions of multiple complex Service Systems Data projects that may span systems, geographies and functions within Apple’s Service Organization. The scope of the role will encapsulate all disciplines related to Supply Chain and/or Service Channel systems with an emphasis on Data Management.This position will also provide key learning experiences from which an individual can move into different operational leadership roles at Apple.
Description
Specifically, this role requires gathering system requirements, analyzing system solutions, leading dynamic multi-functional teams to identify part solutions, and assessing geo expansions system impacts along with part impact analysis. This role also requires tracking & executing part set up tasks, UAT, documenting and presenting changes.Lead discrete projects related to operational strategy from a Data Management perspective. This includes planning and part set up execution that will support Applecare Operations projects for “outstanding” Supply Chain and Channel Repair models.Act as liaison for Service Operations to other organizations within Apple to facilitate major process or systems improvements (eg. Warehouse management, Finance, Business Process Re-engineering, IS&T, Business Dev etc.).Work closely with internal partners within Service Operations to drive projects to successful completion.Write business requirements documents supporting critical initiatives.Analyze root cause Service Operations issues to resolve gaps and put in place corrective actions.Perform training for new systems and processes within AppleCare.Build & deliver effective presentations to executives.Analyze and revamp daily operational processes to improve efficiency.Work closely with the internal process management team to ensure appropriate synchronization of efforts with business team.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA or BS degree - Post-graduate degree a plus
- 5 years of experience in Master Data management
- Excellent Excel skills
- Domestic & International travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with master data management in an ERP environment is recommended (e.g. setting up part numbers in a complex systems environment).
- Experience with Service Operations Systems such as SAP, Agile, Siemens Team Central, Oracle, or 09 is an asset.
- Experience in developing project plans and providing multi-functional program management to ensure deliverables are completed.
- Proactively assessing, analyzing and mitigating program risks and issues.
- Service supply chain experience in forecasting, planning, inventory management, warehousing, and channel repair related processes.
- Experience in handling and leading Service Operations Business Projects.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
