Retail Fulfillment Operations (RFO) help provide a detailed, high-quality retail experience for our customers. You’ll help improve customer engagement and product sales by ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time, and by providing fast and convenient fulfillment solutions to Apple customers. We also collaborate cross-functionally to define fulfillment roadmaps and optimize management systems, tools, and process flows to support Apple supply chains. Description
DC Operations • Designing and validating distribution center layout to ensure KPIs for labor, throughput and lead times are met• Develop, own, and communicate the DC IE KPI’s and project roadmap at multiple 3PL’s to our senior leadership team• Choosing, designing and validating warehouse automation using data driven approaches• Working with third party logistics (3PL) partners and vendors to drive data driven process and design optimizations• Validate new and cutting edge automation/operational equipment to drive efficiency and productivity improvements• Setup DC benchmarking metrics for DC’s across US, APAC and Europe Industrial Engineering• Experience with predetermined time standards such as MODAPTS, MOST or MTM• Modeling and evaluating discrete process simulations • Experience with Design for Logistics operations including assembly/manufacturing• Experience with Lean Manufacturing• Exposure to ergonomic validations• Ability to run basic models in discrete event simulation softwares (FlexSIM and PlantSIM)Factory Efficiency and Metrics• Calculating production costs and metrics that include time, labor, space, equipment and overhead• Maintaining product process flow, layout and parameters• Implementing lean principles to various factory related processes
Minimum Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- • Typically 3 or more years of Warehouse or Supply Chain experience

- • Master’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- • Experience with 3D factory modelling and visualization software (Factory CAD, Line Designer, Factory Design Suite )
- • Good interpersonal, teamwork, presentation and communication skills
- • Strong project management skills and the ability to work to tight project deadlines
- • Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and eCommerce operations - ideally in an Apple context.
- • Ability to learn quickly, adapt and can problem-solve on the fly.
- • Be comfortable working with a high level of ambiguity and delivering results in an unstructured environment.
- • Can prioritize strategic objectives which optimize for speed, cost, and environmental impact while also achieving high-value tactical outcomes.
- • Analytical mindset and ability to use data effectively to size, prioritize, and stitch business elements to influence through effective storytelling.
- • Must have phenomenal presentation skills with a keen eye for detail, and expertise in synthesizing complex information for a wide range of audiences.
- • An excellent teammate who can influence through collaboration and leadership, and are able to work effectively with other teams, bringing them along for the journey is essential.
- • Obsess over the customer experience and are particularly curious about how to deliver new experiences across digital and brick-and-mortar channels.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 and $209,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
