About Wi-Fi TeamWi-Fi team is part of Global Devices Organization, responsible for architecting, developing and deploying Wi-Fi stack software and wireless applications in Comcast/Sky residential and business gateways. Wi-Fi team developed flagship OneWifi stack that is deployed on millions of devices across the world.
The team is diverse and distributed geographically all over the world, in Sunnyvale (Comcast Silicon Valley, California, US), Philadelphia (PA, US), Brentwood (U.K.), Lviv (Ukraine) and Chennai (India). The team is responsible for designing and developing Wi-Fi stack software, wireless applications, Wi-Fi testing tools and algorithms to support Wi-Fi features of gateways. Wi-Fi team members interact closely with Product to define requirements and closely work with release management and triage to deploy features.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate C/C++ Senior developer to develop, maintain, test Wi-Fi features on our gateway products.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Wi-Fi features by participating in product definition, architecture, coding and testing.
- Participate with other engineers in design sessions and code reviews.
- Provide thorough automated test coverage for unit, functional and end-to-end coverage.
- Thrive in a dynamic agile development process.
Qualifications
- Team player that works well with others.
- Solid understanding of how to effectively test code.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture and computer science fundamentals.
- Able to read and understand a relatively old and medium to large code base.

- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot code you didn't write.

Experience
- 7-10 years of development experience in wireless technology (Wi-Fi preferred).
- Experience with 802.11 specifications.
- Hands on knowledge of cfg80211/mac80211 desirable.
- Experience in a Linux development environment.
- Experience using revision control systems, such as GIT and GITHUB.
- Experience using unit testing to test code.
- Experience using C/C++, GCC, perl, python, make.
- Experience with embedded devices.
- BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.

Primary Location Pay Range: $150,938.94 - $226,408.42Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
