Key job responsibilities
• Compile and lead financial results and operational plan reviews including reporting for all planning cycles Guidance/OP1/3YF/OP2
• Provide strategic guidance, tactical direction, and decision support to business and finance partners
• Be the single threaded leader and SME for all planning related deliverables for NA Fresh and partner with WW Grocery FP&A teams,
• Drive automation and scale of financial reporting. Simplify process for internal stakeholders (e.g., finance peers, and business partners)
• Drive finance communication with partner teams on product performance and financial impact, including identification of risks and opportunities
• Provide insights and clarity on team opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with business teams and Finance stakeholders to help develop short- and long-term reporting, models and forecasts
• Lead key analytical projects that influence senior leadership decision making
A day in the life
We are looking for an L6 with strong modeling skills and financial acumen. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about the customer experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who will contribute with strategic and impactful reporting. This role requires a self-starter with bar raising skills in financial modelling and project management, as well as a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations. They will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a wide range of problem-solving situations requiring extensive use of data modeling and analysis, as well as working with stakeholders across the org to operationalize and scale new and existing planning processes and tools. They need to be a proficient communicator and writer, and be able to consolidate complex strategies into a concise and simple narrative for the NA Fresh Stores leadership (L10s and L8s).
This role garners high visibility with regular interactions with various finance, business and tech teams and leaders across Amazon to grow your career and scope.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
