Job Description
The Network Systems Design Support Manager will support and integrate new and existing operating systems.
This position is contingent upon award.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supporting and integrating new and existing operating systems (OS), Active Directory (AD), Messaging, Domain Name System (DNS), Storage, Database (DB), and other server-related services.
- Providing technical direction and management oversight for various engineering and technical staff.
- Analyzing network metrics to recognize substandard network performance.
- Developing reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
- Making recommendations to resolve network problems.
- Managing network intrusion devices and commercial information assurance tools.
- Developing and updating IT systems concept of operations and engineering plans.
- Delivering on-call support outside normal business hours, as required.
Essential Required Experience & Skills:
- Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in a related field.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS), or 7 or more years of relevant experience without a BS.
Travel:
- Occasional CONUS TDY travel for meetings and training.
- Occasional OCONUS TDY travel to the CENTCOM AoR, including Al Udeid AB, Qatar.
