Who we’re seeking?
We are seeking a Principal Solution Architect with strong analytical skills and a passion for streamlining the customer shipping experience. You will serve as the technical advisor for our largest enterprise customers and liaise with our business development leadership team to unlock demand generation opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives on ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain technical credibility throughout the sales cycle, providing comprehensive advice and support on the implementation and operation of our integration-focused products and services.
- Cultivate deep and broad relationships with executives and technical stakeholders within customer and internal organizations, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Identify gaps in our services and work with product stakeholders to align Amazon's technology vision with customer needs. Serve as a technical leader by defining user stories and contributing to the design of new product features for the customer by working closely with engineering and business teams.
- Develop and disseminate knowledge resources such as code samples, tutorials, whitepapers, and technical articles for the developer and shipping community, with a focus on promoting best practices.
- Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks/pain points, and evaluate opportunities to improve end-user experiences, reduce time/costs to integrate, improve CX, and accelerate growth.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate into functional architectures, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Up to 10% travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in building/designing customer-facing API-based products.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or 12+ years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
