Amazon Freight Delivery to Cash Operations (D2C Ops) team is seeking a talented Program Manager with experience in transportation industry. You will lead strategy on end-to-end Amazon Freight Accessorial management. Accessorials are a critical component of AFE’s revenue and operational optimization. This role will lead cross-functional efforts to enhance accessorial billing accuracy, expand chargeable accessorial types, and implement scalable processes that minimize revenue leakage. The candidate will own the operational workflow, strategic expansion into new shipping modes, and drive automation and process improvements to enable accessorial scalability. This role will also create and implement resource planning models to support the program's growing scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Within the Amazon Freight D2C Ops team, a successful candidate must have strong program management skills, will support and report to a Sr. Manager, focusing on freight integrity management with the possibility of creating annual year roadmap for the program, process improvement, and working with other Amazon programs outside of AFE. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment. They must be a self-starter, own identifying opportunities for accessorial revenue/cost recoupment, define end to end processes from idea to execution, own execution and generation of revenue.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own and drive the end-to-end operational execution of accessorial workflows for Truckload (TL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and Intermodal (IMDL) shipments.
• Identifies new accessorial opportunities (new modes like LTL, IMDL and new accessorial types) with existing shippers and new shippers, develops end to end process flow and SOP and executes them until Billing is generated.
• Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders across Product, Business Intelligence (BI), Finance, and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with Product and BI teams to design scalable, automated solutions that integrate data insights and operational workflows.
• Conduct deep dives into existing accessorial processes, identify gaps, and implement mechanisms to resolve inefficiencies.
• Define and prioritize product automation requirements to eliminate manual bottlenecks in operational workflows.
• Build entitlement frameworks and calculate hourly headcount (HC) required to meet operational needs for accessorial execution.
• Launch pilots for new accessorial types and oversee the transition to full operational integration.
• Work closely with stakeholders within and outside AFE to drive continuous improvement, while supporting simplicity, efficiency, and cost containment
• Develop and own key performance indicators (KPIs) such as percentage of eligible accessorials billed, revenue contribution, and accessorial process automation.
• Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Tableau, Access, SQL etc.) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

• Relentlessly focus on improving our process accuracy and knowing the levers to pull for continuous improvement of process and influence business cost effectiveness.
• Perform deep dives into operational data to identify missed billing opportunities and develop corrective actions.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Involvement in recurring business reviews
• Adhoc deep dives and document writing ownership

This is a strategic role within AFE’s Accessorial Program, providing a unique opportunity to innovate and expand the scope of accessorial operations. You will work closely with leaders across BI, Product, Finance, and Operations to execute day-to-day workflows while shaping the long-term strategy of the program. With a focus on operational efficiency, scalability, and revenue optimization, this team plays a critical role in driving AFE’s growth and success.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
