Job Description:
The Associate Development organization at Amazon is seeking a Manager, Program Management to lead the Worldwide Quality Programs team. In this role, you will be accountable for creating a high-performance Quality Organization that delivers a perfect interaction for Amazon's Selling Partners. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to achieve individual and team performance goals, while leading a team of Quality Auditors.
The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, importance of Quality in any process, is metrics and number savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability. This person will need an ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on grass root level to improve the overall effectiveness of SPS Quality Audit Programs.


Key job responsibilities
• Single-threaded leader to define business requirements, program goals, and mechanisms to support the Product Quality Programs (PQP) initiatives for specialized, internal-facing product audits such as Tricorder, LLM, and Tardis across 14 languages and 17 different programs/contact types
• Manage the transaction quality auditing framework for conducting product audits, identifying root causes of defects and collaborate with internal partners to address issues
• Create closed-loop feedback processes to empower team members to identify improvement opportunities
• Advocate for process and system improvements to benefit the Quality organization, stakeholders, and Selling Partners
• Lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent; build career development roadmaps for the site leadership team
• Inspire frontline teams to find creative solutions and encourage calculated risk-taking

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of team management experience
- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in leading teams across multiple site locations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in driving organizational change and implementing process improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
