Program Manager, Data Center Construction

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data center or mission critical facilities.
  • 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track design build processes and associated documents and agreements.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
  • Knowledge of safety management best practices.
  • Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders.
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that effectively address continuous improvement.
  • Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs effectively.
  • Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
