Key job responsibilities
· Lead cross function team to deliver NPI programs and achieve mass production readiness across AWS global manufacturing sites.
· Define and guide decisions on NPI manufacturing capability and capacity enablement strategy and implementation plan
· Lead and drive continuous improvement for successful NPI release and achieve operation excellence
· Communicate NPI program launch plan and status to leadership including C-suite executive
· Manage program deliverable, risk mitigation and engineering changes from NPI through lifecycle management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred)
· 5+ years experience managing new product introduction of enterprise products, from concept till mass production with extensive knowledge of end-to-end hardware development, manufacturing and operation process.
· Experience leading cross functional team with geographically dispersed and/or ad-hoc teams.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in developing and writing white papers and presenting in executive level meetings
· Travel as required to accomplish business needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree and professional experience in Operation Management, Engineering Discipline and/or Program Management
· Experience executing projects to PMI-PMP standards
· Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests.
· Experience in practicing/implementing continuous improvement methodology
· Ability to roll up sleeves and operate as an individual contributor to get the job done; at the same time, be able to guide a team toward an objective
· Recognizes the criticality of delivering to both individual and team expectations.
· Self-motivated and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-discipline, initiative, and independence.
· Experience with managing proprietary technology applications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
