We are seeking a stellar program manager to join the Kuiper Global Service Compliance team, supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper. Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a program manager to partner closely with internal GSC stakeholders, legal, accounting and tax partners to solve problems, drive alignment and assure compliance requirements related to communication service providers are known and implemented across the globe. As a Program Manager for GSC, you will support key compliance obligation implementation workstreams and deliver results that improve Kuiper’s service compliance programs.

You will intake key research documents, foster shared understanding by asking detailed questions about obligations, and drive clarity for the path forward. You will create the correct sense of urgency to optimize and drive adoption of critical mechanisms necessary to ensure Kuiper meets its obligations. You will maintain an up-to-date and holistic view of Kuiper’s obligations and think in terms of immediate problem solving but also focus on long-term operational excellence. You will also support coordination efforts across the compliance team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of program or project management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ year of working with regulatory obligations
- Experience in telecommunications industry
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
