Finance & Global Business Services is seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a Vice President in our Worldwide Operations Finance group. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a long-time Amazonian and take on new challenges and responsibilities to further your professional development.

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the organization's leader and team organized, informed, and on task through meticulous calendar management, scheduling, and collaboration with other Executive Assistants. You will have strong business acumen, the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive continuous improvements, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.

As part of a fun and highly collaborative team, you will be comfortable working independently as well as actively engaging in shaping and nurturing our team culture. You will be an experienced and proactive planner with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the agility to switch gears at a moment's notice, and the capability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. You will possess the capability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and independently, take effective action without knowing the whole picture, and has the desire to build a trusting, long-term partnership with the VP and their senior leadership team.

Key job responsibilities
• Own complex calendar and scheduling
• Own domestic and international travel
• Manage expense report coordination and submission
• Develop, organize, execute, and assist with team activities (Staff meetings; All-Team meetings; Off-Sites; and team social events/recognition
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
• Work closely with the leadership team and our business partners
• Partner with other Assistants throughout the team and across the company

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
