Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineering Manager to lead our Returns and ReCommerce BI team. In this role, you will guide a seasoned group of Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) and cross-functional engineers in developing large-scale, accurate, and scalable BI solutions. Your work will ensure that data-driven insights support key business decisions across the organization.

1. Lead and mentor a team of BIEs and cross-functional engineers
2. Develop and implement corporate reporting frameworks and data visualization improvements
3. Build capacity solutions for growing managed businesses
4. Solve real-world problems through metrics and business cases to enhance decision-making
5. Ensure the timely delivery of BI projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
6. Collaborate with multiple teams, both business and technical
7. Communicate effectively with various levels and stakeholders within the WWRR organization
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
