This role will be responsible for identifying internal and external solutions to business requirements, designing and setting up complex integrations into our existing Salesforce platform and workflows, and driving seamless connectivity across tools. A Salesforce Developer will design and develop enterprise solutions across Salesforce, Marketo, Data Cloud, Salesforce HVS, and managed AWS services, establishing efficient, scalable integrations that align with Amazon Shipping Business Development needs.

Key job responsibilities
- Design/build/deploy new solutions using Salesforce for Sales and Marketing teams in Amazon shipping.
- Implement processes and mechanisms to audit and ensure we continue maintaining high operational bar of the Salesforce platform.
- Engage with systems operating at scale, pioneering new methods and approaches to delivering software, serving customers, and enabling large, distributed, worldwide sales teams.
- Work directly with other product and program teams, and business leaders to identify opportunities to share learning, technology and best practices across all teams within Amazon using Salesforce.
- Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and software to drive business decisions at scale

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Certified Salesforce Developer 1 Certification or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch apex and Salesforce APIs at a large organization
- 2+ years of experience in Salesforce point and click configuration using flows, validation rules, setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards at a large organization
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce CRM application architecture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience building services using AWS products
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce HVS
- Experience with SQL or Redshift and pulling data via queries
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect or equivalent experience
- Salesforce Certified Developer II

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
