As a Senior TPM, you will be driving mission critical programs which will shape Amazon's future and impact the transportation industry as a whole. This space requires a high level of strategy, engagement, execution, and operations to evolve the ordering and fulfillment capabilities for the next decade. The key responsibilities are:
1. Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex problems throughout the global Amazon supply chain.
2. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network. Tackle complex challenges and break them down into actionable steps, delivering results efficiently.
3. Collaborate with other teams and operational partners to generate high quality, cost effective solutions for transportation of packages.
4. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners.
5. Provide technical leadership for large-scale software, architectural, operational projects.
6. Develop and lead high-level strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our fulfillment network.
About the team
We are part of the Fulfillment Optimization org in SCOT and own the representation of the worldwide outbound transportation network to guide Amazon's Promise and Fulfillment decisions. The team is currently spread across Bellevue (WA), Austin (TX), and Vancouver (BC, Canada).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
