As a Sr Business and Intelligence manager, this role will guide the data and analytics team to build and maintain data and reporting solutions, manage data infrastructure, develop and improve analytics products, simplify data access and unlock self-service insights. Through tooling, automation, data analysis and statistical modeling , their team will create solutions and feedback loops to continuously measure KPIs and empower Delivery Associates (DAs) and DSPs to improve their and customer’s experience, sentiment and quality.
Key job responsibilities
* Work with Product and Program managers, org leaders, SDMs, and Tech team members to to build relevant data products and solutions.
* Build a team of BIEs, DEs and Data Scientists to create and support datasets, metrics and KPIs to meet DSP business goals.
* In partnership with WW DSP Product & Offer and Transportation Experience orgs, develop relevant and defensible metrics and KPIs that drive and track business strategy.
* Define and develop data infrastructure, data products , dashboards and visualizations for key metrics and KPIs.
* Drive data governance (data integrity, metrics definitions, and single source of truths, accountability and documentation).
* Establish strategic partnership with business stakeholders, build team's 1YP/3YP vision and effectively communicate and drive key initiatives.
* Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
* Provide guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members, driving their development and success.
* Stay updated with the latest technology trends, methodologies, and tools in Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Science, recommending and implementing technologies that enhance insight capabilities and efficiencies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ yrs in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering or Software Engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience hiring and leading a Data, BI or Science teams.
- Experience leading and influencing the data and BI strategy for their organization.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitions.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience driving and contributing to engineering, technology and data product strategy decisions.
- Experience with SQL, Scripting/Programming (Python, R).
- 2+ years’ experience with Tableau, Looker or similar BI Reporting Platform.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
- Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test and confirm assumptions, and measure success.
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of product experimentation (A/B testing)
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences, as the role requires effective communication with colleagues from computer science, operations research and business backgrounds.
- Experience with AWS Tools and Technologies (Redshift, S3, Athena)
- Prior experience in customer sentiment analytics work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
