The Boost Electron team is part of the Data Center Operating Systems team within the AWS Infrastructure Services organization and is responsible for automating and optimizing processes within AWS data centers. We provide a platform to define, maintain, and automate workflows for various processes, as well as create, prepare, and manage work requests for all data center operations. Our primary goal is to minimize AWS unsellable capacity while ensuring the security of AWS customers' data and the safety of operational personnel. We achieve this by actively collecting feedback from our customers, capturing metrics to assess the quality of our automation, and taking actions based on the insights gathered.The Boost Electron team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer who is excited about building the next generation of Data Center automation systems. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of highly scalable distributed systems that provide availability, scalability, and latency guarantees. In addition, you will be expected to raise the standards of the organization by mentoring junior engineers, interviewing them, and up-leveling the coding standards.
