This highly visible role will partner with UPMT Marketing and Tech teams to support the key finance activities fueling North America Stores growth, including forecasting, strategic planning/goal setting, financial modeling, and ad hoc analysis. The role will support multiple senior marketing and tech business leaders, with broad scope and autonomy. A successful candidate requires an uncanny ability to work across stakeholder groups and evaluate tradeoffs between business focused requirements and technical limitations and priorities.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive investment strategy discussions via insightful and relevant analysis on historical and projected performance
• Evaluate key initiatives and processes to drive alignment and consistency in measurement of program performance.
• Manage controllership with a high degree of accuracy across planning and reporting
• Partner with Senior leadership to evaluate the financial impact of decisions
• Partner with various business and tech teams to become a subject matter expert on systems and outcomes
• Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual planning and forecasting cycles

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
