This role is both creative and data driven – we need someone who can understand our current pain points, isolate improvement opportunities, help us think big about what to consider in terms of localization, scalability, commodity management, and long term automation. You will also be responsible for producing insights and creating roadmap that will help shape effective strategies to better meet our customers’ needs. You will work closely with internal teams, and partners across the grocery business line and other partner teams in these areas.

Key job responsibilities
The leader would work closely with tech teams, leaderships, and business stakeholders to get the products designed and delivered. Some responsibilities include:
a) Create and own product roadmaps
b) Contribute or own vision doc
c) Work with business stakeholders to collect pain points and with engineers to come up with strategies
d) Own tradeoff decisions and resource planning

About the team
Amazon Grocery Data and Technology (GDT) team is the central data team for Amazon Grocery and consists 6 engineering teams (BIEs/DEs/SDEs) and 1 central PM team. We are the direct owner of (a) Infrastructure and services used for reading, processing, reporting and enrichment of grocery data; (b) Productivity tools for Seller Partners; (c) Reporting solutions for worldwide 1P and 3P customers across the following businesses: Amazon Fresh Grocery (AFG), Whole Foods Market (WFM), Amazon Grocery Partners, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree
- Experience in data analytics and data engineering
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
