Key job responsibilities
- Collect and analyze consumer, product and market segment data to inform product positioning and customer segmentation strategy
- Crafting and executing a bold marketing strategy powered by insights and experimentation to drive growth and adoption
- Collaborating with product managers on the product roadmap and providing marketing inputs to influence feature development and market expansion
- Understand customers’ needs through the journey and develop new ideas and marketing plans to support and drive key business objectives
- Leading go-to-market (GTM) launches for innovative features and service enhancements, ensuring maximum impact
- Optimizing the customer journey, from first touch to long-term retention, using a full-funnel marketing approach
- Driving customer acquisition with a strategic mix of paid, owned, and earned media channels
- Leverage relevant existing Amazon-owned channels to reach and engage customers
- Enhancing customer engagement through personalized campaigns and data-driven segmentation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, creative, legal, onsite, lifecycle, and media to execute with excellence.
- Experimenting relentlessly, running A/B tests to refine strategies and unlock new growth opportunities.
- Delivering insights and recommendations to stakeholders, translating data into actionable business outcomes.*

About the team
This role sits within the Alexa Marketing team, a dynamic group that includes advertising, media, lifecycle, and channel marketers. We are a diverse and collaborative team united by our mission to make Alexa an indispensable part of customers' lives, with safety and emergency services being a critical component of that vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of analytics tools and web traffic reporting
- Expertise in subscription models, customer retention, and engagement strategies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
