Executive Assistant, AWS, Global Deal Strategy and Programs

Amazon is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Directors within AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP). This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the leaders and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and confidentiality.

Role responsibilities include:

  1. Managing multiple complex calendars across global time zones.
  2. Managing and submitting expense reports.
  3. Coordinating domestic and international travel.
  4. Handling team offsites and meetings.
  5. Proactively coordinating and engaging with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.
  6. Acting as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders.
  7. Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic).
  8. Participating in planning of events and driving key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering).
  9. Working alongside other executive assistants within the organization and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross-collaboration of efficiencies.

A day in the life: Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of senior-level leadership support experience.
  • Experience with executive-level calendar management.
  • Experience in senior-level leadership support.
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
  • Experience managing multiple calendars.
  • Experience with end-to-end project management.
