What You’ll Be Crushing Every Day

Supplier Oversight

  • Take ownership of supplier performance—ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of critical components by developing and implementing strategic oversight plans.
  • Perform hands-on, on-site oversight to guarantee compliance with our company’s technical and quality standards.
  • Act as a technical liaison, coordinating between the vendor Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to drive vendor performance.
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues before they become obstacles.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and develop improvement plans that get results.
  • Develop security-of-supply risk mitigation strategies that keep us ahead of the game.
  • Lead corrective action requests , ensuring long-term fixes that work the first time.

Supplier Development

  • Dive into the details—conduct technical evaluations of new and existing suppliers to assess manufacturing capabilities and risks.
  • Pinpoint gaps and lead supplier improvement initiatives that set the bar for excellence.
  • Work side-by-side with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes and align them with our rigorous standards.
  • Partner with Design Engineering to ensure clarity of requirements, making sure nothing is left to chance.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives like Value Analysis/Value Engineering , Design for Assembly , and Design for Manufacturing during the design process.

What Sets You Apart

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Skilled in supplier development.
  • Industry experience? Backgrounds include Power, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Ship Building , or other Heavy Metal Fabrication industries.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes like precision machining, welding, forming, assembly, NDE, inspection, and testing .
  • Skilled in process capability analysis (Cpk) and supplier qualification.
  • Able to be the technical liaison between the vendor and quality engineering.
  • Skilled in working with Manufacturing and Quality Plans , PFMEAs , and technical specifications.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects —you’re a team player who drives results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and standards like ASM.
  • Any experience with powerplant or nuclear products and standards? That’s a big plus!
  • Advanced education is a plus!
  • Professional certifications/training are a plus!
