Executive Assistant - GCER, Global Corporate Employee Relations
The Global Corporate Employee Relations (GCER) team at Amazon is seeking an exceptionally talented, customer obsessed, resourceful, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two HR Directors. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community. This is a critical role on the team and the successful candidate will have a good sense of humor, a can-do attitude, and will help build a positive team environment. This individual will be a trusted partner and resource for our team leader and the senior leadership team supporting a wide array of projects, strategic initiatives, and tactical mechanisms. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. To be successful in this role you are an organized self-starter with high judgement, critical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving skills. You possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. The position provides EA support for, and reports directly to the Director, GCER-Labor Relations AMER, while also supporting the Director, ER-AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) and the Director, GCER-Stores/General & Administrative. The individual must be based in the following locations: Seattle, Washington; or Tempe, Arizona; where Directors are also located.
